Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My parents bred and showed Boxers and German Short Haired Pointers in the late 60's early 70's.

Some of my fondest childhood memories are those spent in the whelping box with Sasha our German Short Haired Pointer Bitch.

To this day my Mum is still actively involved in breeding and showing, and my Dad shows on the odd occasion.

I have been breeding Tenterfield Terriers since 2000. It was great news to finally have the breed recgnised by the ANKC and attend shows with my Tenterfields.

My love for showing has grown and my family has now grown to include 2 Basenjis and 1 Chinese Crested. The females from all breeds get along happily, but the Tenterfield males have a few problems with the presence of an arrogant Basenji male.

2006 was an exciting year for DEJAZZ TENTERFIELDS. I entered 5 dogs in the Brisbane Royal and placed first in all classes entered. AUST CH DEILA RHYTHM OF TH NIGHT (Bred by Denise Rolfe) won Best of Breed with a 25 point challenge, and AUST CH TINTERARA SOLITAIRE (Bred by Margaret Croft) won Challenge Bitch with a 18 point challenge.
